A trench coat in the shape of a classic mackintosh, in a soft oat colour. The fabric is built in three layers: a water resistant cotton gabardine on the outside, a soft cotton jersey on the inside, and a windproof membrane in between, so it keeps out both rain and wind while it still feels like cotton against the hand. The seams at the sides and shoulders are sealed, which gives it a quiet, technical touch. The sleeves are set in with a raglan seam that rounds the shoulder, the collar is neat and shirt like, and a single row of dark buttons closes the front. A belt ties at the waist, the cuffs close with a small strap and button, and two slanted pockets sit at the sides. It falls easy and straight to just below the knee.
