LAFINE is designed by Yvonne Koné and made in Tuscany, together with a second generation workshop, and we work as one team. Every piece is developed there, side by side, from the first drape to the last stitch.
A fluid, modular wardrobe.
Our pieces are made to live together in your wardrobe and to be worn in your own way, layered and mixed as you like. We return to the same shapes again and again, and each time a new fabric gives them a different character.
The fabrics we use are Italian surplus from past productions, handpicked for the way they look and feel, and often there is only enough for a few pieces. Each of them is numbered, and when the fabric runs out, that piece is finished.
Modern machines stand next to old ones, and a team of around thirty people, many with decades behind them, cuts, sews, presses and finishes each piece by hand. Fittings take place in the workshop, where the fabric is pinned, adjusted and tried again before the pattern is set.
LAFINE was founded in Copenhagen in December 2025, and in April 2026 we opened our store in Møntergade 22. From the first cut to the last press, every LAFINE piece is made in Italy.
